- Capital investment for facility enhancements and new production equipment
- Tri-Dim experiencing record growth over past 12 months
- Expanded employment opportunities within Louisa and beyond
Tri-Dim Filter Corporation, a leader in HVAC air filtration products and services, today announced an investment of over $1 million in their Louisa, VA headquarters. The capital will be used for facility enhancements and new equipment, expanding production capabilities at the site.
“With Tri-Dim’s record growth over the past 12 months, we are expanding production and making more filters than we’ve ever made before,” said Chip Cayce, Vice President of Operations for Tri-Dim. “Investing in our future is critical, and we are taking exciting actions to continue our leadership in the HVAC industry. With record volumes and increased orders already in 2019, Tri-Dim is looking beyond production equipment and is also adding additional work shifts and actively hiring for new positions.”
The $1 million investment comes just 9 months after Tri-Dim was acquired by global filtration company MANN+HUMMEL. “Leading the automotive filtration sector for nearly eight decades, MANN+HUMMEL has moved beyond automotive and is rapidly expanding into clean air and water filtration solutions,” said Sean Cromie, President & General Manager of MANN+HUMMEL Life Sciences & Environment business unit. “With MANN+HUMMEL’s manufacturing expertise and global reach, the Tri-Dim group is gaining access to new opportunities that were never possible for the Tri-Dim team before.”
“Beyond the capital investment, Tri-Dim employees are also positively impacted through improved benefits programs and a more lucrative 401(k) savings plan,” said Pam Scott, Human Resources Director for Tri-Dim. “Through alignment with MANN+HUMMEL’s benefit programs, Tri-Dim employees have improved benefits plans and lower employee cost contributions. We can now also offer new and exciting opportunities for our people, including leadership positions. It’s a great time to be a Tri-Dim team member!”
Tri-Dim began improvement activities at the Louisa location in January 2019. The facility updates and production line upgrades are scheduled to be complete in 2020.
Production will remain at high levels to minimize delays during this time of growth and expansion.Posted on
